How limits work. The Free plan is a one-time grant of 100 credits — it does not refill. Pro and Max credits refresh in full on your billing date each month. When you run out, you’ll see an inline upgrade prompt — no surprise charges, ever. Pro and Max renew automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings; you stay on your plan until the end of your billing month, then drop to Free.
Billing. Prices are in US dollars. Tax (VAT, GST or sales tax) is charged at the rate your country requires: in most countries — including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, the EU and Australia — it is already included in the price shown; in the US and Canada, sales tax is added at checkout. The checkout always shows the exact amount before you pay. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, so their name — not Didote — is what appears on your statement. What is didote?
didote is an AI workspace for independent designers and creative freelancers. From a short brief it writes the first draft of your proposals, agreements, client emails and invoices, and it keeps each client’s files, hours and notes in one place.
How much does didote cost?
The Free plan is $0: a one-time grant of 100 credits, no card required. Pro is $12 a month with 1,000 credits, and Max is $24 a month with 2,000 credits. Exporting invoices to PDF is free on every plan. Prices are in US dollars; in the US and Canada, sales tax is added at checkout.
What can didote write for me?
Proposal decks from a two-line brief, which you can edit slide by slide and export to PowerPoint; service agreements localized to where you work; client emails in your tone, sent through Gmail; and invoices built from the hours your Focus timer tracked. It can also research what a job is worth in your local market.
Where does didote work?
In your web browser, and as a Mac app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs (macOS 12 Monterey or later), signed and notarized by Apple.
Are the agreements legal advice?
No. didote’s agreements are a plain-English starting point you can edit. Have a lawyer review real contracts before you sign them.
Which AI does didote use?
Text you submit to AI features is processed by Anthropic (Claude), and images are generated by Runware. didote doesn’t sell your personal information. AI & Third Parties has the details.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. Cancel any time in Settings: you keep your plan until the end of the billing month, then move to Free. If didote isn’t right for you, email support@didote.com within 14 days of a charge and it’s refunded in full.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Settings → Data → Export everything saves all of it as a file, whenever you like.
